22 Jan 2010 - Extreme Pizza, the leading purveyor of innovative pizzas, monster subs and salads has officially opened its doors in Dublin, Ireland. Its unique approach to the quick service food industry has enabled Extreme Pizza to build a solid franchisee following in the United States that is now spilling over internationally as it preps for global expansion.
Extreme Pizza's philosophy "Extreme. Not mainstream." has allowed the company to successfully build on its one-of-a-kind restaurant concept that offers more than the typical traditional pizza. It delivers a lifestyle experience that combines the highest quality menu offerings with the thrill of extreme sports. Customers flock to Extreme Pizza to sample their signature pizzas such as The Adrenaline Rush, Everest and Pandora's Box that are piled high with the freshest ingredients available.
"More and more entrepreneurs, both locally and globally, are looking for fresh restaurant concepts to invest in that go above and beyond simply delivering great food," says Jim Ryan, SVP of Franchise Development for Extreme Pizza. "They realize that consumers want an exceptional experience as well as well as a brand they can get excited about. Extreme Pizza is that brand."
Its most recent store opening in Dublin, Ireland is a great example of how Extreme Pizza's brand is being embraced across borders. New franchise owner and keen kite-surfer, Philip Martin, was so impressed by the food philosophy of the American company that he wanted to bring the laid-back, west coast vibe of Extreme Pizza to Ireland. The décor of the 75 person capacity restaurant reveals Extreme Pizza's link with extreme sports, as the walls are swathed with huge, action shots of surfers, kite-surfers and snowboarders. No frozen or canned foods exist in the Extreme Pizza kitchen, and Phillip is keen to support Irish businesses, sourcing all meat and vegetables from local suppliers.
