Little Medical School (US) Franchise to be Introduced in Ireland
05 Oct 2019 - Wexford businessman, Karl Fitzpatrick, is to introduce an innovative new educational tool to Ireland based around a medical theme.Little Medical School, which was established in 2010 by American doctor, Mary Mason, highlights the importance of medicine, science, and the relevance of good health, to children aged 3 to 14 years in an exciting, entertaining, and fun way.
Speaking to this newspaper about the programme Mr Fitzpatrick said it highlights the importance of medicine and all around good health practices.
'This is achieved through an array of activities which include medical themed camps, in-school workshops, after-school classes, birthday parties and school tours,' he said.
Little Medical School programmes include dentistry, nursing, c veterinary, pharmacy, sports medicine and paediatrics.
Mr Fitzpatrick is a successful education entrepreneur and is the person responsible for the very successful Bricks 4 Kidz franchise being introduced across the country.
He is now looking forward to seeing this relatively new Little Medical School concept rolled out nationwide.
'I believe that our children's career choices are influenced from a very early age,' he said.
'Now operating in 12 countries, Little Medical School is an exceptional hands-on educational play concept that stimulates children's interest in medical careers,' he added.
Mr Fitzpatrick also said he had no doubt that the innovative programmes 'will prove to be extremely popular with children and parents throughout Ireland.'
As the master franchisee Mr Fitzpatrick is planning on creating 150 jobs throughout the country over the next five years through recruitment of franchisees.
Dr Mason also welcomed the expansion into Ireland and expressed delight at welcoming Mr Fitzpatrick as the master franchisee for Little Medical School in this country.
