Bruxie (US) to Franchise in US and Abroad

24 Jan 2020 - Bruxie, which serves fried chicken and waffle sandwiches in Southern California, said it launched signed agreements to open 18 locations in California, Colorado, Alabama, Georgia and Florida since launching a franchise operation in 2019.The chain also has deals in place for 24 international locations in three countries, according to a company press release.

"We know we have the right combination of delicious food and brand experience, and we want to share that with as many people as possible," said John Ramsay, VP of franchise development. "Our customers keep coming back because they know they'll find the varieties of flavor they have been craving; we make food for people who seek out unique offerings, and we're eager to grow our loyal Bruxie following."

Bruxie's sandwich recipes were developed by co-founder Kelly Mullarney, a chef who trained at the Culinary Institute of America.

"Our menu is full of unique and distinct flavors and our customers love the originality of our product," Ramsay said. "Our model is successful because we are authentic to our brand and our customers enjoy that type of dedication to our product. Our menu items cater to all demographics and we have something for everyone on our menu."

Bruxie, which began operations in 2010, will open six to 10 locations this year and up 120 restaurants in the next five years. It's now seeking franchisees for multi-unit deals of the brand. Including a franchise fee of $35,000, the initial investment to open a 400-1,800 square-foot location is $600,000-$800,000, according to the brand.
