GYMGUYZ (US) Annual Conference Highlights Ongoing Expansion of Franchise Brand
23 Oct 2018 - GYMGUYZ, an international mobile fitness concept, celebrated another successful year at its annual conference held in late September in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Surrounded by more than 150 energetic franchisees, head trainers, corporate team members and vendors, CEO and Founder Josh York announced a number of strategic innovations aimed at continuing GYMGUYZ forward momentum to close out 2018 strong and enter 2019.
The franchise is celebrating one of its most successful years to date, opening 93 new locations, now in 28 states and two countries. GYMGUYZ, nearing 200 locations, is focusing on better serving its growing customer base with technological upgrades to their coach app, ongoing education for their trainers and the launch of tablets that will help better track each client’s progress and results.
“We’re always looking for new ways to stay ahead of the competition and aside from the scalability of our unique concept, our biggest leg up is our technology,” said York. “The GYMGUYZ model was built around providing a convenient solution for our customers and technology has become a vital part of the convenience cycle. In order to continue the brand’s expansion into new markets, York called on industry veteran Dawn Weiss to lead the company's marketing efforts. Weiss joined GYMGUYZ in September 2018 as the CMO and is focused on strengthening the company’s marketing foundation in order to set the brand up for success as they expand into new markets.
"GYMGUYZ already has a good baseline for what it means to be successful. I’m focused on developing a strategy informed by the best practices already in place in order to fuel future growth for the brand,” shared Weiss.
