NZ operator wants Taco Bell at home Restaurant Brands New Zealand Ltd. said in an investor presentation and in a news report it wants to buy a Taco Bell franchise group on the U.S. mainland, bring the brand to New Zealand, and expand the chain in Australia. CG Corp’s Wai Wai City (Nepal) noodle bars to go global The $2-billion CG Corp Global is targeting ₹ 1,000 crore from its QSR business under Wai Wai City by 2025. GNC (US) announces plans to expand into Australia General Nutrition Corporation today announced plans to establish and develop a presence in the Australian market. Jubilant FoodWorks (US) to launch Domino’s Pizza in Bangladesh Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd, which operates Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts outlets in India, on Tuesday said it has formed a joint venture with Golden Harvest QSR Ltd of Bangladesh to launch Domino’s Pizza in the neighbouring country. “As one of the fastest growing economies, we believe that Bangladesh offers huge potential for Domino’s,” Shyam S. Bennigan’s (US) signs master franchise agreement for Pakistan On St. Patrick’s Day, Bennigan’s – the largest Irish-themed casual dining brand in the U.S. – executed a Master Franchise Agreement with Baila Group of Companies to open four locations in all the major cities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The first of these locations is expected to open within a year’s time in Punjab, Pakistan. Barr Soft Drinks (UK) signs franchise agreement with Australian company Barr Soft Drinks has confirmed a new franchise agreement for UK and Ireland with Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, an Australian “craft-brewed premium non-alcoholic beverage company”. The range will include Ginger Beer, Root Beer, Blood Orange, Lemon/Lime & Bitters, Peach and Pink Grapefruit flavours in 375ml glass bottles.
