The new property is set to open in Gibraltar under a franchise agreement with property developer Roquebrook. The groups will convert an existing office block into the 120-room Hotel Indigo Gibraltar. CCC (Poland) acquires Romania’s Shoe Express for 33 Mln Euro Polish footwear retailer CCC said on Thursday it has bought a 100% stake in Romanian company Shoe Express for 33 million euro ($40.2 million). Founded in 1999, CCC is the largest footwear retail company in Central Europe and the largest footwear manufacturer in Europe, according to its website. Choice Hotels (US) announces alliance with Sercotel Hotels (Spain) Choice Hotels has entered a strategic alliance with Sercotel Hotels, anl operator and franchisor based in Spain. H&M posts Q1 2018 sales at SEK 53,554 million, continues global growth Swedish fashion retailer Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) has posted first quarter sales of fiscal 2018 at SEK 53,554 million (54,369). Sales excluding VAT amounted to SEK 46,181 million (46,985). In local currencies, sales including VAT were unchanged in the first quarter. For the reported period, gross profit amounted to SEK 23,040 million (24,466). The group had one-off positive tax income of SEK 399 million as a result of the US tax reform (Tax Cuts & Jobs Act).
